The Doddridge County Economic Development Authority (DCEDA), in collaboration with Citynet, is committed to transforming Doddridge County into a digitally connected community. This partnership aims to provide high-speed internet access to every home in the county, fostering economic growth, educational opportunities, and improved quality of life for all residents.

Key Highlights of the Partnership

• $14 Million Investment: A fully-funded project resulting in virtually 100% broadband coverage for Doddridge County residents.

• Public-Private Collaboration: Initiated with a $1.5 million investment from the Doddridge County Commission, supplemented by a $600,000 donation from the Doddridge County Board of Education, and further supported by over $12 million in grants from the USDA Rural Development Reconnect Program and the Rural Digital Opportunity Fund (RDOF).

• This initiative: A testament to the power of collaboration in driving community development and ensuring that all residents have access to the opportunities afforded by modern connectivity.
